A Gentle Reminder from the Universe
Actually, it feels more like a push
Yesterday, January 16, 2023, I decided to get a head start on Tarot Tuesday by doing the reading and prepping the photo. I even attempted to write the copy, but nothing came to me as authentic. My muse was tired and begged for rest.
Slightly annoyed, I agreed but something prompted me to look back to a year ago and see if perhaps I could get some motivation from a previous reading. Imagine my astonishment when I pulled up the reading for January 15, 2022 (I had nothing for the 16th or 17th).
Too much synchronicity to be coincidence. I haven’t used the Moonology cards lately but was guided to do so when I set the intention for today’s Card for the Collective. I also never refer back to previous readings because—well, they’re previous readings.
I’m no mathematician, but I’ll venture to say the odds of pulling up the same Card for Collective on (almost) the same day two years in a row are fairly slim—especially since I have about 20 decks to choose from and this particular Oracle has 44 cards.
Clearly the Universe was giving me (and you) a forceful push in the right direction.
Perhaps it’s the energy of being midmonth in the first month of a new year. Perhaps it has something to do with the prevailing energy of change on the planet that demands movement. Perhaps it’s just part of the cycles of Life.
But the message is to let go of old stuff that no longer serves. Could be what’s in your hall closet, junk drawer, or garage. Could be outdated belief systems or mindsets. Could be a partner or work situation. Only you know what you need to release.
Just do it.
To help you focus and locate the source of negativity, I added moonstone for clear vision and the I Am Divine affirmation candle for support.
And then, as I recommended last year (and always advised after a release), clear the air, refresh the space, and cleanse your body. Drink more water than usual for the next two days.
Do not delay. The New Moon in Aquarius arrives in a few days, on January 21. And while all new moons offer an opportunity to change your ways, this one is also significant as being the closest the Moon will be to Earth in about 1000 years and won’t be this close again for another 345 years.
So, my interpretation for the repeat of the Release card at this time is the Universe is pointing out a best-case scenario and time period to start fresh or refresh and get in the flow of harmonious energy. Don’t let this be a missed opportunity to advance your soul’s mission.
Until next time... My best, Shelley
