All You Need Is Love
I Love You (Yeah, Yeah, Yeah)
How do I Love Thee? Let Me Count the Ways.
Love. Poets and lyricists have known the key ingredient in the secret sauce of life for centuries. I can hardly list all the poems and songs dedicated to the subject, so I just went with the top three that came to mind.
It’s time we started to speak the same language as the those who daily connect with the unseen sources of wisdom. When we do, we too can witness the transformation of the soul lifted by inspiration.
Today’s Card for the Collective gives a glimpse into how to approach fluency in this underused language.
New Moon in Aquarius. It’s interesting to me to pull this card since we experienced the New Moon in Pisces only yesterday. While Pisces brings an immersion into deep waters of emotion, this card is indicating the energy of pragmatic, intelligent Aquarius is still in circulation.
Aquarius is reminding us that love is more than romance and affection (although I wouldn’t deny those are very pleasurable aspects). In a world of What You See Is What You Get, love is the unseen driving force necessary for “what you see” to take its form. In order to achieve WYSIWYG, you have to do something to bring it into being.
If we want peace, justice, and balance, we must be those things. Gandhi’s oft-quoted words express it perfectly. “You must be the change you wish to see in the world.” If we’re not witnessing that change, perhaps it’s because we don’t have a template for how to be it, let alone achieve it.
New Moon in Aquarius is suggesting that we “Bring love into the situation.” Burt Bacharach expressed the same.
What the world needs now is love, sweet love.
That’s the only thing that there’s just too little of.
The language of Love is not limited to words. You don’t need to be a poet, song writer, or artist to speak Love. A hug is Love. Acceptance is Love. Listening is Love. Kindness is Love.
Interesting how a language that can be spoken so easily is the hardest to master.
A favorite author of mine, Don Miguel Ruiz, wrote as number one in The Four Agreements: Be impeccable with your word.
Start to speak Love and watch your life and the world change.
I’ve lit the candle of the Fifth (Throat) Chakra to help us bring the voice of Love into being.
Until next time…my best, Shelley
Love Is the Universal Language
I totally agree. Love is so much broader and deeper than can be understood by most humans. It really is - all there is.
