New Moon at Cancer, arriving today, brings nurturing, positive energy to your home. Home could be your physical dwelling, personal body, or both!
New moons are always a time for fresh starts. Cancer, a water sign, represents maternal nourishment and rules over home, family, roots, and life processes. This is the opportune time to turn your attention to these areas, especially if you’ve been neglecting family or yourself lately.
The cards today affirm and reinforce the positive New Moon energy.
9 of Earth: The suit of Earth represents home, foundations, finance, and family. Nine indicates fulfillment and brings a reminder to enjoy what you have.
The Sun: Archangel Uriel is the angel of focus and concentration and can be called upon for new ideas or solutions. The Sun is a sign of success, abundance, and overall positive energy. This is a good time to start a new project for yourself, home, or at work.
The Lovers: Archangel Raphael is the angel of health, travel, and significant relationships. In the third position of the spread, this card indicates that your actions now will play an important role in the future. Ask yourself what you want to bring into your life and take a small action step toward it each day. Raphael will assist you, but it’s up to you to set the stage with your intention.
This lunar cycle is prime time to nurture all relationships, especially the one with yourself. A little extra indulgence of self-care is recommended. Small pleasures (dessert, a nap, a good book read by the pool or ocean) can have big, positive effects on your mood and attitude, brightening your day and that of those around you.
In case you still need a “cherry” on top of this already upbeat reading… the New Moon in Cancer may be an emotional time, but these cards are a sure sign of positive outcomes for you, especially in family matters.
I have upcoming Tarot reading events scheduled for August and October in the Asheville area. If you’d like a personal reading before then, consider booking a Zoom reading. For a few extra dollars, you’ll get twice as much time and won’t have to leave the comfort of your home.
Until next time… my best, Shelley
