Tarot Tuesday

Born a Leo or not, now is the time to take center stage and let the world hear you roar! New moons are prime time for releasing what no longer serves and turning toward what stirs your heart. Leo is ruled by the sun, illuminating all open-hearted expressions of your true self.
Imagine my delight when my first reading with Rebecca Campell’s new Rose Oracle cards turned out to be an exact match to the energy of this new moon in Leo. You weren’t there to hear it, but an audible gasp escaped my lips when the spread was laid.
Here’s what you can look forward to:
Release the Petals: In this 2-card spread, the left (first) card represents what is now. This is a card of transformation. It indicates it’s time to do more than let go of old ways and ideas; it’s time to burn the bridges and move on. Change is the way. Embrace it. Feel the joy of new growth. Pulling this card just two days before the new moon in Leo is a sign your efforts will be illuminated and guided by your true heart’s desires.
Sophia: The right (second) card in this spread represents the possibility of what can be if you follow the advice of card 1. Sophia is the Greek word for wisdom. Sophia is thought to have been present at the time of Creation and is often presented as a woman, turning the patriarchal understanding of a male deity as sole Creator on its head. Sophia is mentioned in ancients texts of many civilizations, sometimes by different names, but always as being an integral part of Creation. She represents the innate intelligence within your cells that guides you toward your truth. Trust this inner blueprint.
Clear quartz crystal sharpens your inner vision and aqua aura Lemurian seed qartz enhances your ability to communicate inner truth.
The timing of this auspicious spread preceding the new moon in Leo is an indication to let go of the need for explanation, reasons, and rational understanding. Follow the wisdom of your heart. Do it loudly, and with conviction.
Would you like some help accessing your intuitive guidance? I have upcoming Tarot-reading events scheduled for August and October in the Asheville area. If you’d like a personal reading before then, consider booking a Zoom reading. For a few extra dollars, you’ll get twice as much time and won’t have to leave the comfort of your home.
Until next time… my best, Shelley
New Moon in Leo: Release Your Inner Roar
Hi sweetie,
I loved reading your Leo post. I happen to be a huge Leo, which is good for the people that I love, and not so good for all the others who miss out on being adored, protected, nurtured, praised, and showered with affection. We can't help it. We will fight dragons and walk on hot coals for our loved ones. And I agree, drop any self doubt, stop explaining your intentions, and charge forward.
Feeling good about this reading. Yes I am a Leo waiting to roar.
Love you,
Ellen
