When I pull cards for the collective, it can take a while for me to discern the message. Sometimes I have to sit with a spread for several hours or even overnight. It’s not only one person’s energy I’m tuning into, but many, so I have to step back to appreciate the broader view.
Similar to reading a good novel, some cards suggest there’s a powerful message guiding me to read between the lines. This is one of those spreads. Something told me the message is not just for today, but for our times.
9 of Voices. This card indicates we’ve been marinating in a sea of nightmarish terrors, real and imagined. The illusion of doom creates anxiety, fear, loss of sleep, and increased stress. Who needs dystopian literature when it’s happening in real time?
Muse of Inspiration. Our fairy godmother? Not necessarily, but she brings the energy of possibility coupled with a vision of better days, better times. This muse inspires us to take the ashes of destruction and build something new. She assures us that everything we need to rise again is already present or will be provided.
Queen of Inspiration. The leader within or nearby who provides courage, enthusiasm, and inspired guidance, helping us to rise up, again and again.
6 of Emotions. This “extra” pull can be considered an “outcome” or card of “more information” for insight. In this case, it’s the latter. The message this card brings is that it’s not necessary to dump all the ashes. Sift carefully through what seems to be lost or destroyed, and you will find remnants of relationships and memories that beg to be restored. We’re each being asked, “Is there a relationship or situation you can rekindle to bring you joy?”
As you embody the phoenix and rise to the new day, take with you all the good and sweep away the ashes of the once-was that no longer serves.
To augment the power of the phoenix, I added many crystals: Rose quartz to fuel your heart, yellow citrine for abundance, orange carnelian for self-empowerment, and green malachite for powerful transformation (something every phoenix needs!).
Anything not covered with these stones is included in the dish of crystal chips, so rise, phoenix, rise. Change is in the air.
