I believe that everything we need to know is already inside us. That we come into this life with a hard drive full of info that we need only to unlock via the Search feature. Of course, we still have to provide the correct key words to retrieve the data, and thus emerge the adventures of our life paths.
But what happens when, despite our best efforts, our key words are not bringing up what we want or need?
Depending on our age or circumstance, most likely we’ll look to our parents, teachers, friends, community, Google, media, and possibly religious or even political leaders for answers.
Oy. Look where that’s taken us.
So we return to our search for answers within, but somehow we’re not making the right connections.
Think about it. The answers may be buried within our personal storage units, but who loaded the hard drive with this essential knowledge in the first place? When nothing makes sense and you keep coming up short of satisfaction, it’s time to go to the Source for hints regarding your key word choices.
And that’s the message from today’s Card for the Collective.
Charity. Prayer and Contemplation.
According to Kyle Gray, angel communicator and the creator of this Oracle deck, Faith, Hope, and Charity are a trinity of archangels dedicated to helping us regain our natural traits of kindness, trust, and faith. Charity is the archangel who encourages the spiritual practices of prayer and meditation. Her message is that prayer is how we speak to the Divine, and meditation is the way we open ourselves to receive the answers we need to hear.
My take on her presence today is to remind us that although we have the tools to be self-sufficient, we were never meant to go it alone. We need the loving support of the heavens, which sometimes shows up through prayer and meditation, but also has a way of surprising us by putting certain people, books, and other message-conveyers in our paths.
Take a shower, a walk outside, sit on a bench near a busy playground, or somehow engage with life in a way that speaks to your soul.
The answers are there. Waving to you. Smiling. Laughing. Loving. YOU.
